Call for Speakers for Cluj.PM #9 is Now Closed!

As you've probably seen already on Twitter and Facebook, yesterday was the last day for submitting your awesome talks & speak your way into the Perl Community of Cluj.

Officially, the call for speakers for the Cluj.pm event #9 closed last night, October 15th.

We have got many talk submissions and ended up with great line-up of speakers, plus an amazing guest speaker, Andrew Shitov. Everything seems to be right on track, so let's get the agenda ready for Monday, when we'll also start the registration process.

Don't forget: do not make any plans (that don't include the cluj.pm meeting) for November 19th

Next on our to-do list: MONDAY we're going to announce the schedule and, of course, opening the Registration for the event.

Once again, I'd like to thank all the speakers for sending talk proposals, we will notify everybody shortly.

Hey, Speaker: Join Cluj.PM #9! Yes, YOU!

Cluj.PM is back in town! After getting back from YAPC::EU 2015, we have a hell of a lot to celebrate: bringing YAPC::EU 2016 to Cluj doesn't happen every day, so let's get together for another round of Perl talks & a social event afterwards on November 19th, 2015, at our usual meeting place: City Plaza Ballroom.

So who's our Guest Speaker? Cluj Community, meet Andrew Shitov, organizer of more than 30 Perl events in the Cyrillic territory and a couple of YAPC::Europe, Riga and Kiev.

And who are the other speakers? Well, YOU, so we'd like to hear from you as soon as possible!

If you are interested in giving a talk, you should know that your topics may cover anything related to Perl development, entrepreneurship, UI, business, devops, and why not, even other related programing languages! Be creative and surprise us with some really special talk proposals. We know you have it in YOU!

Now back to the administrative details, please submit your talk (topic, description and duration of your presentation) by sending an email to Amalia (amalia@cluj.pm) by October 15th, 2015. Please keep in mind that there are three types of talk slots: 40 minutes, 20 minutes and 5 minutes (lightning talks)

All the approved speakers will be notified by October 19th, 2015. For details and updates, please visit: www.cluj.pm, our Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or Meetup pages.
